From what I've seen in photos through a couple of (online) friends it looks just amazing! And this place here... I first saw some pics of it in an email going around. As soon as I saw it I thought I want to go there. Its #1 on my list of landscapes that I want to see. I have to know, what is it like standing up there? Do photos go anywhere close to capturing the enormity of it? :)

As for back home, yes there are a lot of amazing places to see, I don't think anyone regrets visiting here. :D I'm fortunate I've seen a lot of Australia, but I've never been overseas and really hope I can afford to go one day. :(

Well... it's really cool - especially because the way up is pretty tiring and you are glad that you finally are there. But there is a lot of great nature on the way up and you often get a glimpse on the Lysefjord - so it's not only standing on the top, the whole area is just amazing. But it's also pretty scary...going carefully closer to the edge and looking down... So I can just recommend to visit Norway.

And I think the Kjerag must be even cooler: [link] but it takes 8 hours to go there and the way must be pretty exhausting and a bit dangerous. I didn*t went there because my friend had an injured foot.

And the Kjerag photo looks so cool too! So now these are (1a) and (1b) on my to do list. :eager:!!!

okay, then set this also on your list ;): [link]

I will visit this place (the troll-tongue) and Kjerag definitely the next time I'm in Norway (hopefully next year or in two years). But as I am living in Germany, it's not too far...
